Nanotechnology
Nanotechnology refers to the study of changing matter on an atomic and molecular level. These technologies deal with molecules and atoms on the nanometer scale. This range can be from 1 to 100 nanometers in length. Plasma technology is a form of nanotechnology because we are changing the molecular makeup on the surface of a material. This is done to achieve desired effects through one or more processes such as cleaning, activating, etching, and coating.
